This picture shows the dining chair being assembled. The clamps hold the wooden pieces in place until the glue sets. Note the glass decoration embedded in the chair back. I bought several of these during a Mediterranean cruise. (Art work from onshore gift shops.) I used a router to cut an outline of the artwork 1/4" deep into the chair back, then used epoxy to cement the artwork into the chair.
This picture shows the plywood used as the base for the chair cushion. After the cushion is built, it will be attached to the chair with 1 1/4" wood screws.
This is a a picture showing one of the dining chairs with arms attached.
This drawing shows front and side views of the dining chair.
